Training review and mentoring
Not every runner needs a coach to direct their training but it can help to have an experienced person with whom you can talk through your training and goals. A one hour session over Skype may be all you need to figure out any blocks and get direction for whatever you have planned next. Wherever possible, I follow-up with a list of recommendations summarising our discussion. We may only ever talk once or we might check in every once in a while, I’m available when you need to talk.
Price: £40 – payment required before session.
Training for a race
If you have entered a race and want to get the best possible preparation for it, this is the option for you. We’ll have an initial chat about the race, what training you’ve been doing and what might be realistically possible and then I’ll write the training plan, you go do the running! Depending on how much support you want, we can catch up weekly or monthly.

Annual coaching
If you’re a runner looking for one-to-one coaching to help improve year on year – this could be for you. You may just be starting out on your running journey and it’s good to have a safe pair of hands. Or you may have been running for a few years and want specific help for moving up to the next level through consistent coaching.
Whatever your situation – we will work together to create an annual plan which allows for periods of development, recovery while fitting in races. Too many runners are just training from race to race with little thought on how to make it part of a bigger plan. My expertise is in helping you to do the right things at the right times!
Annual price: £800 can be split into monthly or quarterly payments. More details on request, minimum initial period of three months.
Build a Base Course
It’s said that every distance runner needs a good aerobic base but what is that? How do we build it? How does it help? By the end of three months, I aim to get you running five days per week totalling 4-5hours which will position you to train for any race. If you’re more experienced, we will look at how to safely increase to train more. The training isn’t gruelling but it requires you to be committed. You need to have the motivation and time available to follow the plan if you’re to get the best from it.

Get Faster … Speed Training Course
So many runners talk about how they’re not fast enough – yet they never do anything about it. They stay with old training routines or do what they think is speedwork without understanding what they really need to do. This ten week programme is geared to improving your top-end speed which will help you find another gear in sprint finishes and eventually trickle down into your distance running.
